The founders of MMM launched the company on the simple observation that the world has changed. Most importantly, what has changed is how people want information and how they want to share information. We came to the conclusion that the traditional marketing playbook has just not kept up. Customer engagement has to rethink its go-to-market playbook in three areas. First, it has to realize that the world has gone mobile, social, and video. Second, content needs to be about people’s insane vertical passion- points. And third, content needs a whole new kind of business model based around technology drivers that reduce costs of content creation and at the same time make content a revenue generator not just a marketing expense.
